fuel pump
Why do you need to remove the fuel pump? If you are not a tech, best to have one do it for you. there is a fuel supply line, and possibly a return fuel line, and could get messy if you don't know what to do. Not being stand offish, but you could get yourself in over your head, and we don't like to give you the direction to do so. peace0 -

Ok I get it. I just graduated oil burner tech school. It was only 8 week long. I have a cleaning tomorrow. I got an old beckett burner so tonight I decided to take the fuel pump off as a practice run you just in case. Well I couldnt get it off. I figure there has o be a trick or a tool. I removed the to side bolts and she wouldnt move.0 -

The hub fits tightly into the housing. Carefully pry both ears of the pump. She should come right out. peace0
