As far as i can remember someone once counted about 50 different Modcon boilers that are available in the US market today.

For a project that i am thinking of i am just looking for input on the NAMES ONLY...it does not matter if they are the : the Good ;the bad or the Ugly.

Just names! i.e:Buderus;Glowcore;HTP;Lochinvar;TT;Viessmann;Weil Mclain;.......

Can you all help fill in the Blanks ?..

Thanks Very much Richard :-)

  • Mod/Cons List

    try http://www.nipsco.com/energyprograms/eh/boiler_prod_list.html

That is the Northern Indiana Public Service Company List. There is also a list of ModCon furnaces if you want it. The list for boilers is about 3 - 8 1/2 x 11 pages the furnaces about 72 pages.

    You want names or manufacturers?

Names would be like, Bobcat, Endurance, Munchkin, Prestige etc.

    Manufacturers would be like

    Buderus;Glowcore;HTP;Lochinvar;TT;Viessmann;Weil Mclain

    ME

There was an error rendering this rich post.

  • The list from

    Northern Indiana gives both names.

Current Energy Star List as of April 1, 2009

Current Energy Star List as of April 1, 2009 is available at:

    downloads.energystar.gov/bi/qplist/boilers_prod_list.xls

List of 470 boilers is in Excel so you can sort out the ModCons by efficiency.

This list does not include larger commercial boilers such as Aerco or Knight XL. Also does not include Canadian boilers such as Allied Engineering, Camus Dynamax, Gasmaster Industries or IBC Technologies.
