Cripple Creek \"Boiler Room\"

Dave, I've had a couple years to think of what, if anything, I would do with the front section of this old CI sectional. I was thinking a wood burning fireplace. If only I owned a tavern....
It's seeing it's last winter as the rest of the apartments will be condo's or remodeled apartments by next season.
Original to the building in the 20's I'm sure.

Here is Tyler and I posing at the bar. They have just the front section of their old boiler mounted above the bar.
Also see the old toilet I found in the old jail. No, I was not arrested.

WAY COOL Dave
I did something similar here about 15 years back. The bar was actually in the front of a 12 mil boiler. The old fire tubes had lights installed and were used to store bottles. The owner had someone wire the old piping and rads, making it sound like there was someone inside trying to get out. It was a pretty cool job. Unfortunately the building no longer exists.0 -
That...
...is the coolest bar I've ever seen in my life. Maybe we should try a franchise? :-)
