Spring is here and summer is just around the corner. Thank god, because my back is killing me from all the snow shoveling.
So, after my 1st heating season with my new boiler, I can honestly say, that the cost was well worth it. What a huge difference in comfort and fuel cost. I reduced my heating bills by half.

So what now? Is there anything that I should do before summer? I want to make sure that I keep the boiler in tiptop shape. I heard that it is good to over fill the boiler to protect the castings from air and subsequent oxidation?

Any suggestions for steam boiler winterization?
