Tankless to Cold Start

How about warm start ? Turn the aquastat down to 110 -120° ? I like to see the boiler have a "running start" instead of trying to "catch up". But that's just me.
You want to pull one of the wires out of the white aquastat block on your 8124 or 8182. I forgot which wire.Sorry I didn't help.

Tankless to Cold Start
A while back I thought that I read a thread to change a tankless coil aquastat to a cold start boiler aquastat.
Can someone clue me in to how to change the aquastat when adding an indirect ? I can't remember.0 -
cold start
I agree with Bill, warm start so much better, but if you want a cold start, pull the blue wire from the temp block, and wire nut it for it is live. Make sure the low limit is set to 110. The circulator will still only be powered by the low limit, and will not be energised untill the water temp reaches that setting. If it is still set for 180, it will heat up to that temp before any circulation occurs. Peace0
