unless you setup the boiler to either cold or warm start as applicable.You want to eliminate as much of the idle loss of the boiler as possible,the standby loss of an indirect is much,much less

    If I switch a tankless coil to an indirect water heater on a 175,000 btu oil fired water heater how much energy can I expect to save in one year?
