Knocking in main water tank

in THE MAIN WALL
I am having an issue with a knocking/poping sound coming from mail water tank on boiler. I have tried to get the air out and tried different water levels. What am I missing??

    Knocking

    I've experiece that knocking noise in a expansion tank before.it was from the internal circ inside the boiler not coming up to speed along with being overfired.

    Care to share the name of the product you have?

    Are you talking about a sure tank which is installed on your steam main ?
