    There really aren't a lot of new books on solar. Most are from the late 70's and early 80's, but very little has changed about the basic design principles. We have better equipment now, but it preforms essentially the same function.

    from the German Solar Energy Society, ISBN 1-84407-125-1

    This is a wire bound "paperback", pricey but worth it if you are interested in a detailed look that includes science, practice and even marketing.

    I've learned a lot from the other sources mentioned as well.
