kpc, it's been awhile since I heard that name, or used a Sparco zone valve head, but those were the guys who used to work for Taco years ago. The head should be replaceable with a Taco, if it is the 80's era valve. If it has lost it's wax, it will open and close premature. Does it have a chrome handle on the side of the head closer to the zone valve base? been awhile. peace

anyone have ...
or see an issue w/ a Sparco 521 series zone valve short cycling.... It is installed on a Amtrol boiler mate classic style w/ the dial control. There is no end switch and it is controlled by a Argo ZV control... Every 15 minutes or so boiler and burner come on for about 2 min. then shuts down...ty,kpc0 -

then it will be a thermostat issue. Didn't think Sparco was still out there. Good luck. peace0 -
