All oil condensing boilers,the Buderus G125/21BE is 89.75% and non condensing.Maybe they can tweak it?
The only condensing oil furnace is the Adams

90% is a big # because the new stimulus bill contains a 30% tax credit($1500 cap) on furnaces and boilers 90% and up.

    oil systems are there available today either Forced Warm Air or Forced Hot Water?

    The reason I am asking is I have some inside information from the Department of Energy that discussion is taking place to accelerate the energy efficiency requirements for Gas and Oil heating systems from 2010 to late 2009. The talk is to go to 88% efficiency on all systems.
  • Let's hope

    the DOE or some other organization revises how AFUE is calculated . Which right now does not take control strategy into account .
