    Thoughts for my MOM

    For those of you who have met my MOM, she is in the hospital with a GI bleed. Had 2 units of blood last night and is doing better at the moment. Docs wanted to do a whole lot more texts but at 95 didn't see a reason to put her through all that just to see where it might have been. Keep her in your thoughts. Thanks. Ruthe

    Bleed has stopped and other complications have cleared. Moved out of ICU tonight to the floor. Probably discharged tomorrow with a lot of home care. Still very weak but charming all the nurses . Thanks again to you all prayers and thoughts sure do help a lot. Ruthe

    no such thing as too much prayer

    and never too old for prayers. I prayed not only for your Mom but yourself and extended family that there would be comfort and healing. I also thanked the Lord for people such as yourself and Timmie as we can see from this forum how positively our lives have been impacted by yours. Best infection to spread around there is.

    A little setback this morning. Bleed may have restarted and her heart has been affected a little (not a heart attack, just stressed) by all the low oxygen levels. going to keep her 1 more day and see what tomorrow brings.
