    Help Removing Hoffman Air Vent

I have a Hoffman Specialty air vent (#75) that needs to be replaced. It has been there at least 5 years. It is in a very tight spot.

I am having trouble getting this out. I assume that it twists out counter-clockwise. I cannot get it to budge.

Should this be difficult to remove? It seems stuck in place. Is this typical?

Any insights or suggestions on how to remove this would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Kroil or PB-Blaster

Apply Kano Kroil or PB-Blaster penetrating oil. Wait. Twist counter clockwise (left) as it's a regular pipe thread.

    LEVERAGE

IT SOMETIMES IT TAKES MORE LEVERAGE THAN USUAL TO REMOVE THESE VALVES. Good aspect is that being brass , it WILL come out & in one piece....gauranteed. use a wrench with a ten foot lever if necessary. puuuuush.
