Replacing a convector element, hot water 3 pass coil 4ft long x6" wide copper coil aluminum. Bought new one from supply house, they came through in steel. Supply house says they are the same, btu's etc. would this be ok

copper vs. steel
if btu rating is same it should be ok. usually not good to mix types of radiation on system ie : never cast iron w/ steel or copper but steel & copper may not be a problem because they cool at similar rate as opposes to cast iron holding heat much longer because of different mass.0
