A new way of looking at things

whether it's a new way or an old way; every employee should certainly realise that, when he gets his paycheck, it has the customers' INVISIBLE SIGNIATURES on it. trying to make the customers feel good about their signiatures is always important.-nbc

    Positive difference

Everyone looks for a way to differentiate themselves from their competition. One way is to actively engage your employees in the follow-up process. A good follow-up policy can mean the difference between retaining a loyal customer or losing the customer and paying hundreds to find another.

How many of you ask your workers if they have made a difference in a customer's life today? Not any difference, but a positive one. How much effort would it take for a worker to write down a simple answer every day and e-mail it to you or have a special place at your company Intranet program to do such a thing? (You do have company Intranet don't you?)

Once you accumulate the feedback for one month, choose the best response and reward your worker with a restaurant gift card AND contact the customer who the worker wrote about and give them a gift card, too. It is win-win and shows both the worker and customer that you care about them. Call it your "Make a Positive Difference" program.
