Carrier Stat wiring help
I need to replace my Carrier TSTATCCP2S01-B thermostat for our commercial electric heat/cool 5 ton system.
The replacement stat is a Carrier 33CS450-01.
The problem is in trying to match the wiring terminals.
The old stat has a "S1" and "S2" terminal and the new unit has a "RS1" and "RS2" and a "RS+5". We are assuming these are the related terminals but not sure.
Any help would be appreciated...perhaps you can direct us to an online wiring diagram.
Thanks in advance...0 -
I found
nothing on your old stat. On the new one, the 3 terminals starting RS are for a remote sensor. Does your stat use a remote sensor? I did find a feature matrix that shows the old stat could use an outdoor sensor but still think Carrier uses a 3 wire outdoor sensor. I used to have one on my office's stat til the stat died.0 -
steve, if you haven't found it already

the s1 and 2 on the old stat are for remote sensors, and the rs1, 2 and +5 aren't used0
