Because I consider you all friends....
I want to tell you that yesterday was the funeral of, Anne, my wife of 34 years. She had diabetes since the age of 15. No replies are necessary as I am well aware of your caring remarks to others on "The Wall". I just wanted her name floating out here in cyberspace. Best regards,0 -
she is your wife
You are our freind.
My families thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of need.
All the best from Georgia.

You and Anne are floating in my heart
This is a shock. 34 years is quite an achievement and yet it should have gone on for so much longer. What a loss.
I keep in mind a picture of your friendly and smiley disposition as you shared pictures of boilers. I hope it helps that we'll all be sharing the thoughts about Anne.
Your friend, Christian

My sincere thank you ....
for all the kind words and prayers, everyone. We met when we were 15 and married at 20. She worked as a bookeeper for a gratefull HVAC company. A wife, mother of 2 girls, went to school and operated her own dog grooming business and still had time to volunteer to play guitar music for church on Sunday at the local nursing home. Kidney failure slowed her down in the 90's, but we still managed to take trips to our favorite place, Hawaii. I always said you can work when old, so we enjoyed her times with good health and went there as often as we could. We shared alot, so it was only right to share a kidney with her in '99. She received a donor pancreas in 2000. She was able to see our 2 grandsons, now one,5 years and one 10 months. Some illness you just can't run away from fast enough, though. There have been many great friends, many compasionate healthcare poeple that have help us along the way and we are grateful. Be a donor, now or when you leave this world, but give someone a second chance. Best Regards, Bob0 -
One set of footprints
in the sand. He will carry you.
Jesus said, "I will never leave thee nor forsake thee."
You are in my prayers.

Bob...
Sorry to hear of your loss. Your descriptions above shed light onto a great relationship. She is now smiling down kindly upon you...
Take Care, PJO0 -
What a wonder ful person graced your life. My father died of diabetes...juvenile onset....I know firsthand what it is to live with someone you love very deeply going through the trials and tribulations of this disease. You were lucky to have known her, and to have her as long as you did...even though your time together was brief, it's quality that counts, and you and she had it....Our prayers and thoughts are with you now and always...John0 -
Your loss
Bob,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my dear wife 21 years ago suddenly at the tender age of 44. Aside from all the help of family, friends, and neighbors, I got the most help from a couple of books , "Life After Life" and Death And Dying". Even though you are in great pain and it will never leave you, you will know how much better off they are in their new home. Peace be with you and yours.

Bob, I want to extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family. Yesterday, our new mayor passed away after battling cancer since early July, and one offical made a nice reflection about him that sounds to me would be fitting of your wonderful wife, "The most beautiful rose is always the first to be picked from the garden." My family and I will keep you and your family in our prayers. God Bless.0 -
Life has some twists and turns for us all.
nothing really prepares us for the quiet times when retrospection takes us back to the memories,....friends mean well and would do something anything were it possible to bring us back to focus ,the man upstairs has quite a few of our friends and families. my prayer is that they are in a dream state where we shall all meet again in joy .... Your on a new frontier. continue in the good Work.
