    Markel Hydronic Heater

We are thinking to buy a 1950's house which has a Markel heating unit in each room (no oil/gas). The unit has coil and a fan to regulate the temperature, and the model number is HF3125TE. We were told the units were installed in 1998 but they look older. I also saw more than usual copper piping in the house. Therefore, we wonder if the heating units are hydronic heaters, rather than electric heaters (the selling agent cannot tell us). Can someone tell us if Markel made hydronic heaters back then or know what kind of heater that particular model is? Thanks.

    my advice ...

would be to contact a plumbing/hydronic heating contractor to look at the system and give you a total evaluation of the whole house....kpc
