williamson used to be the best built warm air furnace on the market after 102 yrs they went bankrupt company has been sold at least twice since about 19920 -

From the serial number, that unit is most likely 21 years
old. But then, most contractors, in my experience, don't give those sticky little administrative details a second thought. D88 typically is the key.

1988 vintage. Yes, they were TANKS. Probably not that efficient though with a vent damper and spark ignition, probably pushing 80% AFUE. Saw one the other day from the early 70s. Looked like the day it was installed!0
