The banging boiler

I have one 140m that is nine years old that started banging due to a burner gasket failure. This was letting the fuel/air bypass the resistance of the burner and the ignition until the delayed ignition and then BANG! I thought I had it fixed and now it still does it occasionally. I checked the gas pressure cleaned it checked the flue ran a flue gas test. It all seems fine.
The other day I was on a install we did three years ago that has the same model. I was in the mech. room checking the control relays and it banged a bit on start up. Not as severe as the older one but not in a good way either.
So the question is- are you guys seeing this with the munchies? If so any consistent solutions?

Just bringing it back up. At this point I am at a loss the factory has no new ideas. I can change parts until it stops or change the boiler. Neither sounds good if I don't know the cause.0
