Leaky Steam Pipe
I just noticed today that I have a leaky steam pipe in my crawl space. Explains why the auto water fill on the boiler runs almost everyday. It is a single pipe system.
What are the suggestions for repair? Do I replace pipe and/or elbow or first try some pipe sealer? It appears to be leaking at the elbow that turns up into the floor. Can it wait for warmer weather as other than the water puddling on the vaper barrier it does not appear to be doing any damage? Hard enough to get into the crawl space in warm weather. Am I loosing much efficiency?0
