in Tempe in 74. Jas Cotton Blues Band, MArshall Tucker, LS, Boz Scaggs, Steve Miller, and Elton John came up out of the crowd to play.

MT and LS just blew the place away. Ronnie Van Sant had a huge shiner and a bandage on his head, but it didn't seem to affect him, but then again, ho would you have known. There were some bizarre stories surrounding that event, but I can't talk about them in polite company;/

In San Diego at the start of the crash tour. What a show, one of the best I've ever seen, they really had their stuff together on that tour. Sad it all had to end like that and be followed by more tragedy as well. RIP Billy...

All Original members except Ronnie,,,one dude was in a wheel chair. They kicked ARSE!!!!! Along with Aerosmith, I believe they are the two best American hard rock bands. Mad Dog

One of the wildest stories I ever heard was when

Artimus Pyle, drummer was on Howard Stern, recalling the aftermath of the plane crash and how he stumbled thru the woods to a house...and they HO SHOT HIM!!!!!!! because he thought he was Texas Chainsaw Massacre dude. So, he survives the plane crash and gets blasted with a shotgun!!! Nice!!! I don't know if it was true or not, but he did get charged with child molestation in the 1990s.....sullied my opinion of him. Then again, Pete Townsend and Marc Bolin of T-rex were alleged pedophiles too.....Mad Dog
