burnham boiler replacement from two years ago, with original steel and copper piping, and the old, non-bladder, rusty? exp tank was left in the system. water treatment chems were left in way past the intended time, and it was suspected of causing a lot of leaks, esp at the pumps' seals, along with metal particulate in the water. complete system was flushed eight times until an 8ph was reached, and eventually all the pumps were replaced. a year and a half down the road, the seals are leaking again, and there's a lot of metal particulate in the water. the particulates are tan colored, but are easily picked up with a magnet.
what gives? electrolysis from plumbing used as electrical ground for the building causing a breakdown of the inside of the steel pipes?

The left over rust stuck inside the system? Or maybe lots of little leaks causing fresh water to keep feeding in and eating away the iron? Poor de-oxygenation and micro bubble equipment? Nasty water feeding in to the system to start with?Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.

agree with Charlie
Is there any place you can cut in wye strainers to try and collect rust and debris that is in the system. Rhomar makes a great cleaning agent called Hydrosolve, you may want to try that to flushh the system.
