Polaris Loop for Aux Heat

That loop from the polaris circulates domestic water so it may be that the 007 is not turning as it is a cast iron pump. The circ pump I use is a stainless pump. Hope that helps. Best regards, blackoakbob

Polaris Loop for Aux Heat
I have a Polaris DWH with a loop for aux heat backing up a heat pump. The loop has TACO items, 007 cartridge circulator , 219 Swet Chek and a HyVent. It is tied to a 80,000 Btu heat exchanger. The problem is when used below 35 degrees, when the HP compressor is locked out, it cannot maintain temp. Let alone bring the temperature up after a night time set back. Where do I start. I bled the HyVent and only water came out. Can the check valve be stuck?0 -

Perhaps the total dynamic head is greater then the capacity of the 007 circulator. Is this a new problem, or existing problem? That's my theory anyway.
