This is a rental unit and they reimburse me. The home has all new windows and new gas boiler.
This was the bill for last month. Home is 2600 sq feet, $$ 460 Gas bill, lights 150.
No budget plan. You guys that have gas heat how does this sound? Home is on Long Island.

It depends
on the cost per unit of gas and electricity. Rather, make known your kWH and therms used. Cost per unit varies, usage is where it is at.
Here we pay about 20 cents per kWH and with an 1800 SF retro-insulated 1922 house, we pay a bit more than you do here outside Boston.
Our gas bill can be about the same but we have this just awful back room with a vented space heater... We pay about $2.10 per therm of gas, last I checked.0
