Did you get the printer as well?
Is it useful or important to create a print out? I suppose it would be nice to hae it in the customer's file.

Combustion analysers
What tool are the Serious Pros packing?
We will be using it for LP and Natural Gas. Mod Con boilers. Trying to balance price and function.
Thanks in advance.

How Much?
I guess the question also is:
How much do I need to spend to get a tool I can trust and will be proud to own?
That being said, just because I sell Viessmann boilers doesn't mean I want to spend $5k on an analyzer if I don't have to.

I asked same quest.on here a year ago. Bought UEI Eagle 1 and returned, it had a defective printer and thought it was junk... Exchanged for a Testo 327-1. Well built w/ field replacable sensors. I also install Viessmanns and know germans make good stuff. Sweet hard case protects well.JG0 -
We use exclusivly now Testo with the printer. We are obliged to leave a written combustion test report at each startup. Read the instructions and follow them The sensor cel replacements are expensive when you leave the unit plug into the vent too long!0 -
Combustion Analyzers
I've been really happy with my Bacharach Combustion Gas Analyzer. No pump or sensor problems. And if somebody wants a receipt, they can pay a whole lot extra for my next analyzer to include a print-out.0 -
I'll cast my vote...
for the Fyrite Insight. I used mine today and so far I still find it to be an excellent instrument. Cost me $1100 without a printer. Today I left the job thinking the money was well spent.
