.... Any piping diagrams. It was more of a basic sketch and maintance tips. Maybe it was a owner manual. Yes the three inch would be for steam....

    I was wondering if anyone out there had install manuals with piping diagrams for older Am Standard boilers,cica 1970ish.

    I would like to compare the way my boiler is piped vs the manufacturers drawings.

    The boiler is a #G-26-SPD
    Series# 7BNSE-J6

    I`m wondering if the plugged 3" tapping was supposed to be used for steam and the 2" was for water trim.

    does it really matter that it might not be piped to manaufacterers recommandation that old boiler is an energy hog you should be thinking of replacing it

    Sure the top tapping

    wasn't 3-inch and someone bushed it down?

    nope

    2" right out of the boiler section.

    Looks like someone didn`t want to put the effort into working with 3" pipe.
