Which type of fuel oil line is best, steel, brass or copper, for an inside oil tank?

[orange] Plastic jacketed copper oil tubing (Pro-Tec, Petro Guard, etc.) in [blue] continuous plastic sleeve (ENT or "smurf tube") -- with flare fittings of course.
Black iron or brass pipe could be used for short rigid connections between sludge pots or primary filters and secondary filters, or between tiger loops and filters. Don't forget the firematic valve(s) too.0
