1 Million BTU's
I'm going to assume you meant to say 100,000 BTU's. The Flue gas temp can vary a lot. From 325 to 550 or more. Nobody can say what it should be. It will depend on the water temp and how long the burner has been firing and how well your system is set up and how cold your incoming air is and what burner you ahve etc.
Take the stack temp about two pipe widths from the breech. Should be a hole around there already. Take it from the center of the flue.
I just tested my boiler. Stack temp was 402 Degrees.0
