I’m Alan R. Mercurio, your friend in the industry and the host of Oil Tech Talk. I have been in the residential oil heating business for more than 20 years, and I’ve enjoyed every day. I have taught thousand of technicians and continue to do so, and I’m here for you.

Hi Rick, with the exception of things a consumer can do safely by themselves, no this will not be about consulting them on performing repairs and/or installations on their own. If anything I’ll share and educate consumers as to why there are things they just should not attempt doing on their own.
