My burnham independence boiler has also apparently cracked as well. Recently I have been adding more and more water as
Water level was constantly declining, causing low water cutoff to kick on. No after having service tek look at it, he tells me boiler is cracked. How long do I have until I have to replace?i I assume I already know the answer but is there anyway To "fix" a crack?

    Is this water or steam?
The tech who saw the crack first may have a better idea than we could.
Any repair which could be made will only be delaying the inevitable.
As you replace the boiler, try to find out what caused the boiler to crack, and correct the underlying cause.--NBC

You can replace that now or have an emergency replacement in the middle of winter which will cost you more. If it was late March you could tough it out but this is mid November.

NBC is right when he tells you to find and fix ANY leaks, constantly adding water will shorten the new boilers life.
