I'm baffled

Just wondering if any wallies have encountered baffle (turbulator) deterioration in Triangle Tube Delta combi boilers.I was recently called to service a 4 year old unit converted to LP from new.Pulled the burner and found pieces of baffle( postage stamp to credit card size) in the bottom of the combustion chamber.I could hear loose fragments drop inside the flueway when I reached in and grabbed the end of one of the baffles. After reassembly and upon start-up the unit would not light off, try for ignition, huff, puff, and fail. The only way I could get it to light off was to remove the combustion air piping at the top connection. The local rep says he has never had to order in replacement baffles. The HO contacted his original installer and supplier who sent him a box full of replacement gaskets, but no baffles. If any of you guys could help me out it would be greatly appreciated as I am pretty sure the HO is thinking his boiler was working fine until I touched it.Thanks.DJ
