Check on a flooring system like Roth it is Styrofoam with Groves in it for the Tubing to be installed, you can then install a backer and tile on top of this.
Or you can install panel radiators and Heated towel racks..

new house
So I bought a new[to me] house. It is a 70's contemporary with lots of glass and baseboard heat, and a 1971 oil boiler.
I have lots of things I want to do and will eventually start different threads to keep things separate.
It is a "deck house" if any know what that is. That means it has no ceilings, just 2 1/2 inch thick tongue and groove 'decking' . It makes changes pretty difficult.
What do you suppose the possibility of adding some radiant to a pair of tile baths upstairs? insulation under would be minimal, but above conditioned spaces, 2/12 inches of wood[r, what, less than 3] It would just be for floor warming, as I will not remove the baseboard.
I will be replacing the boiler, leaning Buderus.
thanks
