Warm room due to computers

whether hot water or steam, are ideal, simple devices. Whether the gains are internal (computers) or external (solar), these will compensate for it.

The good news is, your room is practically self-heating, if the load is that consistent.

For some applications (commercial/institutional), we specify AC systems which run at low outdoor ambient temperatures. AC is needed 24/7/365 sometimes.

If the loads are that great and constant, an HRV may help, some ventilation in the bargain. But like you, I am hoping that just "heating less" does the trick.

    Warm room due to computers

How do you deal with a too-warm room due to computer equipment? I turned the radiator off in my office at the supply valve years ago. I am now moving my office to a much warmer room in the house (south-west vs north-east) and had planned on doing the same, until reading here it is not the best thing to do. I did install a new valve on that radiator a few years ago, should I regulate it that way?

    Thanks,

    Diane
