Magnets

I am working on a 14000 sqft "House" in the high county that has maybe approx.6 miles of 3/8" PB tubing in a Plateless stable up.

This is a very bad situation as the prior "Mechanics" just keep on unloading Iron into the Tubing by changing boilers and circulating pumps

At this diameter the tube Clog's pretty easy!

What i am doing is using a small diameter "Snake" and Rotor rootering the tube on the Supply side and pushing Fresh water from the Return side so i can loosen up the Iron debris and get flow to the loops.

After all this i will install Rhomar system cleaner and allow a couple weeks for contact Time so the Chemicals can do there job on loosening up the Iron.

I have seen some posts about Magnets here before! does any one know were i can get these so i may "catch" the debris as it comes back?

Any recommendation greatly appreciated.Richard
