pipe sizes

I have two, not because they are so indispensable (they are), but because I never know where I put the other one.
Buy the metal (aluminum) one. The plastic one is fine for small stuff but you will need the large one at some point. Might as well have it.

pipe sizes
Does anyone know of an inexpensive gauge that can be used to determine the nominal pipe size of black iron pipe? I seem to remmember a plastic gauge that may have even been available at this site before. I need to get them into the hands of our service department- enough said.
