1\" to 1 1/4\"
Hello. I am looking to install a steam radiator to a 1 pipe system. The supply pipe is 1" and the radiator tap is 1 1/4". What is the best way to pipe it to get from the 1" to 1 1/4"? Thanks.0 -
Ed stated the correct way to do it. I guess you could also use a bell reducer on the 1 inch vertical pipe just before it goes into your 1 1/4 in valve. Using one horizontally leads to water hammer.0 -
Valve Sizing vs. EDR
Just make sure the 1" valve is the right size for the EDR of the Radiator... water hammer is our enemy!0
