Steam Air Vents

We have a single line steam heating system installed in 1964. After replacing from a regular size radiator to a smaller size radiator in bathroom boiler keeps loosing water and after replacing the air vent on the radiator it was working fine but a year later it is loosing water. I have no puddles anywhere or notice humidity in any rooms. Do smaller radiators need special air vents and also who makes a good quality air vent? At Home Depot quality is very inferior compared to the original that was installed by the previous home owners about 15 yrs ago. On the Internet I found one for $30 each with temp control seem little expensive.

Air Vents / Water Loss
Hi Abdul,
Check out anything from Gorton. I've had great success with their product.

As for smaller radiators needing special vents...
well, they just need to vent at the proper rate to assure that the house heats evenly... this goes for all the radiators.
As for water loss, It can come from a few places. Here are some examples.
1. A buried return line that is leaking
2. A hole in one of the boiler's cast iron sections and the steam is going out the chimney
3. Spitting air vents
