solar hookup to existing boiler loop

this situation seems to fall between plumbing, boilers and solar. i want to hook a solar evacuated tube array into an existing boiler loop. i need a 1 1/2" mixing valve that will check the solar array water temp and use that if hot enough and if not, call for heat from the boiler to supplement solar array. I have a taco zvc 406 that is running all my zone valves in the existing boiler loop ( hydronic floor, dhw, endless pool). can you tell me if such a creature exists and if so, can i run it with my existing controller? thanks alot for your help

The ? you should be asking is do I want to shoot 200-400 degree water into my boiler loop. You need to either add a mixing control( my least favorite idea) or you need to add a storage tank to buffer down to a usable temperature. Then you can ask the other question and the answer is yes with a Tekmar control.0 -
OR.....
You could run a seperate baseboard loop or radiant panel so you could run it at the same time as your boiler loop. You will harvest a lot more energy. Low temperature energy.
Thanks, Bob Gagnon
