temperature of steam pipes?
Depends on pressure. However for most home steam units a couple degrees above boiling (212 F) so about 215 F.

temperature of steam heat pipes
Does anyone know the maximum temperature for steam heat pipes coming out of a steam boiler?0 -
Max
If you are not superheating 705ºF @ 3200 PSIG.There was an error rendering this rich post.

Rod is right..
Bob is also right, but then, Bob has an awful lot of "A" dimension to spare.
I want to know where Bob lives so I can watch his house from a safe distance
At least Bob does not go to superheat.0 -
about 215°F for a system @ 2 psi gauge near sea level.
For higher steam pressures it will be more, e.g. a 10 psi system would be about 240°F, 30 psi about 274° etc. but for residential heating even 2 psi is a bit too much pressure!
Note: at high altitudes, e.g. Denver, the steam temperatures will be a few degreees lower (perhaps 205° vs 215° for Denver) for the same gauge pressure reading, due to slightly lower absolute (atmospheric) pressure.0
