No hot water in the morning!

Do you have cold water coming from the hot faucet or is the water temperature too low for you? It sounds like the low limit on the aquastat was turned down too far when the boiler was cleaned. Running the water chills the aquastat and starts the boiler firing until the high limit is satisfied. That would explain the delay.

No Hot Water in the morning!
We have a fairly new hot water heater that is oil. We had it cleaned about a year ago and one and off since then we notice that there is no hot water first thing in the morning. If you turn the shower on and let it run for about 3-5 minutes and then turn it off for 5 minutes or so to let the tank "recover" it will have some warm water.. It just seems like it doesn't heat overnight?? is that a possibility?0
