Iron vs Steel for 1pipe steam
hi All.
Dan's book talks about using steel piping for steam heating. Pex supply carries only iron couplings and elbows.
will they work just as good?

If I may...
Same thing by different names. Colloquially, they are all termed "iron pipe". The pipe is actually carbon steel (ASTM A53, usually Sch. 40) and the fittings are what are really iron, usually gray cast iron or malleable iron.0
