Munchkin parts

Why not call HTP direct at 508-763-8071 or 800-323-9651 ext. 130. Sometimes it is better to go direct without having intermediaries.

    Frustrated tech and raging customer

Is there anyplace on line that has a complete illustrated parts list for Munchkin boilers? The HTP website has breakdowns that show the basic major components but I need something that shows everything including screw sizes and misc small parts. Ran into one that has had at least 4 different "mechanics" working on it and it's a mess. Screws missing, threaded holes stripped in the gas valve plate, stripped screw heads etc. These metric fasteners with countersunk flush heads aren't something you can go and find at the local hardware or Fastenal. Also need to find a part # for the gas valve/orifice plate so I convince the distributor that such a part exists. Seems the only breakdown they have is the same one I can look at on HTP's site.

I was planning on that tomorrow

Just trying to get my ducks in a row before that. Got a lot of stuff on my plate already for Monday and don't have time to waste trying to explain what I need. P/N's for the items needed would be nice.

    YAH!

Does that kit have a part number?

I don't need all of them but the kit has the ones I need.

    Funny Perry

Real Funny :) Nothing like a little smile to start the day. I was expecting something more sympathetic from you after the Lions fell to 0-16 at the hand of the Packers.

Have a good day my friend!

    Screw Kit

Here's a cleaned up close up.

You must order each part individually.

    I didn't know...

Steve: I didn't know that the packers had won until after I did that posting (I had forgotten they were playing).

I spent most of my day working on my little post on mon/con boilers.

    Thus, my belated condolances...

But, glad you appreaciated the humor

Steve, I know it's a little late as you were trying to get this info over the weekend but I thought it would still be worth posting for future use.

The "screw kit " is HTP to get the one screw I needed had to buy the whole screw kit . If you can zoom in on the picture you can read the description & part numbers . My local rep has been great to keep parts instock.

Sorry I am too slow to respond cause I work plenty this time of year.

    kit number

Is there a number for the kit? Bryan

    I guess not

HTP is good about putting part numbers on every package but there is not one on the screw kit package.

    I noticed that too

But I finally found a place that A: knew what I was talking about and B: actually had it in stock. Life is good.

Have run into the same thing

with other boilers. Metric screws stripping out blah blah blah.

Lochinvar put together a real nice service kit including, well, to many parts to list. But it is really nice and comes in a kick butt tool bag with a pair of gloves and screwdriver. I throw in a target wall and there's not to much I couldn't correct if need be.

    Heh Heh HEH dirty mind

    Gas valve DUNGS ???? heh
  • Kit.

My Distributor (not supply house) has a kit with all the screws gaskets and various little parts in it. I do a lot of Munchkin work and they gave me one.

Good to have a relation with the distributor and HTP.

I have always had good luck when calling HTP direct.

Seems my local supply houses do not give the best service. But my distributor is awsome. When I have an issue I talk to HTP or distributor first.
