New Oil Tanks
Boston_2
Member Posts: 107
A few years ago, when we purchased our house, we put in duel mini (165 gal) oil tanks to replace a large single leaking one. We recently converted to gas and no longer need the tanks. The compay that installed them said it would cost us 600 - 700 to have them removed. I would hate to see them thrown away. Is there anyone interested in removing them and donating them to a family that might need new oil tanks? The only thing I want to make sure of, is they are donated to someone or family in need.
There is about a 1/4 tank of oil left in them.

Thats a nice thought. I would contact "Self-Help" they are a not for profit organization that helps people unable to pay for fuel or service. I am unsure if they would accept used equipment donations, but if they dont, they may know someone who would.
Good luck.
