  • I have noticed that on this board, the mostly-male senior members seem to be more patient and polite, and give more and more-understandable replies to posts placed by women. Do y'all think that some guys might posing as women here when asking really basic questions? Just a thought . . .

(By the way, the next time I need an answer to what I think might be a really stupid question, I'll be named Melissa.)
  • gender difference?

of course there is a difference, and vive la differance [as dan would say since his return from Paris]!
what gentleman here would not want to lay down his cloak of knowlege over the mud-puddle of ignorant knuckleheadedness for a fair damsel like Sir Walter Raleigh?
be that as it may, the penalties for female impersonation are severe on this site! [similar to pretending to be a student when getting into museums].--nbc

    Remember \"Josephine The Plumber\"

Jane Withers (born April 12, 1926 in Atlanta, Georgia) is an American actress best known for being one of the most popular child film stars of the 1930s and early 1940s, as well as for her portrayal of "Josephine the Plumber" in a series of TV commercials for Comet cleanser in the 1960s and early 1970s.

    Josephine is My ...

Dogs name. I named her after that commercial. I would say 80% of people asked remember her name in that commercial

    Lisa

If you were really female you would have surely called your boiler a furnace! Ha Ha.
  • Yes, I really am female,

And I probably know more about hydronics than the other "girls" who post here.

Now, if y'all want to send us new info about thin film PV, and thin film/hydronic hybrids for residential, and systems you've installed, call Mark.
  • Not to change the subject but,,,

I just saw an ad in a local rag for a company claiming to install "Wood Fired Outdoor Furnaces".
