system will not hold pressure

With a giant storm coming in, we will see how it does, but the issue will be that the sensor is now in the middle of a dead area, and will never know the exact temp of the slab. It was in a bright, sunny area to begin with so moving it is a bonus. Has anyone used any other method besides the 'correct fitting' to repair something like this, or is this loop gone for good? Any thoughts on where to relocate it? Check a warming system on a cold slab with the thermal camera to see where the loops are?

Could this be a problem? Happened at about 12psi. Slab sensor was put in last summer with boilers. I have the section shut off and the rest warming. Hope the rest holds! Every inch of flat surface around the house is snowmelt...

You have a leak.
You will have to see what melts and what does not, then make a repair if warranted. Small bites with an air chisel is what I would do.

I also see that the the concrete saw cuts either hit the tubing or were cut not at the place that was sleeved.
Nice work. Nice save.
Might as well pick up the leak in the mechanical room in the proposal.0 -
Break in the system was when the last guy added the slab sensor. He just followed a control joint with the sensor wire and chipped in the sensor, but blew through a loop. We will see tomorrow if the rest held pressure. Many vents have gone bad as well as miscellaneous joints from the glycol. Do any vents fair better than others with glycol? what is a good target temp for the slab? Does a Tek 665 stage two boilers? One is always on standby, not sure if it is a back-up...

Chip slowly to that great leak
Tim:
Get to the manufature of the tubing for the leak repair.
Some say their brass fittings will last XX years if rapped with XX tape.

Tubing looks to be gray 5/8" tube, not 1/2 or 3/4. I did not see a label on the pipe yet. looks to be expanded & glued at connections. HO is calling 'chipper' to see if he wants to fix it or have me do it, but this pipe is from 1989. Thanks for the offer to help...
