Sizing drop header

I am going to re-pipe some poorly installed steam piping off a boiler that burns 490,000 BTU/hour. The Smith boiler has two 3-inch risers.
My plan was to pipe the two 3-inch risers to loop down to a 4-inch pipe that would feed three risers to feed the three mains for the building. Will the 4-inch pipe be large enough? Larger is so much more expensive.
Suggestions?

it would be sized
the same as called out in the manual for a standard header..i'm not sure what that would be for that brand..they probably have the manual online i would imagine.

steam drum
Some of hb smith boilers i have done in the past had oversized steam drums in lieu of a conventional header. check their piping diagrams. a steam drum is the ultimate header.0
