Insulating Radiant Slab

We are installing radiant floor heat in a concrete slab that is primarily above grade. The concrete slab will rest on the ledge of the poured foundation wall. We are going to put 1" blue board on the vertical portion of the ledge and 2" blue board under the rest of the floor. My question is can I put 1" blueboard insulation on the part of the ledge that the slab will be resting on in order to keep the heat transfer from occuring between the foundation and the slab? Will 1" blueboard work and are there any issues concerning the slab settling if poured on top of the blueboard.

Crete-Heat...
makes that install a lot quicker and easier. EPS insulation won't lose its R-value over time as xps does. simply a better investment.0 -
Crete Heat
Can you allow the concrete slab to rest on top of the crete heat where the slab rests on top of the foundation wall. I am concerned about the weight of the concrete crushing the insulation at that point.0
