Winterizing a hot-water baseboard system?

Our old oil hot-water boiler broke and flooded the basement. It will not be replaced until spring. All pipes and the radiators have been drained. However, there is one room that is built on a concrete slab and has baseboard heat. The plumber who drained the system will not guarantee that the baseboard heaters will be leakfree in the spring. They say that some water could still be left in the pipes and could freeze.
My question is - is there a way to get antifreeze into the baseboards even though the boiler is broken? Our plumber said no, but I've heard it is possible.

You can put propylene glycol into the system with a pump, you might consider blowing out the lines with a air compressor. Buying one will be cheaper than buying the glycol.0
