THE HOUSE HAS A TWO PIPE CONVERTED GRAVITY WATER SYSTEM WITH ONE RADIATOR IN THE BASEMENT BELOW THE MAINS,BLED AND GOT ONLY GOT WATER YET RAD STAYS COLD WHILE EVERY OTHER ONE IN THE GETS HOT0 -
increase pressure to max.0 -
no heat radiator
sounds like the a pump problem. is it running primary, secondary
condensing boilers piped incorrectly will create to much headloss
pump may be to small
shut some of the valves to the upper rads forcing more gpm to the lower rad0 -
i had a similar
experience with two ci rads after a boiler swap. the rads/lines needed a good flushing, at the rads, because the circuit flush didn't clear those two, even though it cleared the convectors in that circuit. black sludge0 -
If possible, turn off the valves at all the other rads except for the problem one. If you get the hot water to flow through it once it will work. Another thing is to drop water temp intil you get to flow to rad then increase the temp. back to where you need it.0
