Two jobs one in bid and one in progress.

The one in progress wants to add solar thermal. I have talked to the solar contractor I work with and we have a good line on the panels storage and solar controls. A injection control with outdoor reset that will switch to the boiler when needed.

    How many outputs?

The control on the left has 10 sensor inputs, including a spot for an irradiation sensor (for drainback or evac tube control) 7 relay outputs 3 are triacs (variable speed) 2 relay outputs have outdoor reset ability. 1 output is a dry contact. It has a V bus to connect to a data logger or laptop, or to go online.

It has all the features of the I-solar plus control from Caleffi, pictured on the right, including evac tube setting, heat balancing, collector cooling, recooling, etc.

It comes with 7 basic pre-programed functions and 30 system schemes.

It is designed for advanced solar control and intergrating boiler. 120V in and output, CE listed (no UL) but reads in celsius.

We would like to get some out in the field for feedback and application ideas. This one will be installed Wed. a on a 30 tube system, Prestige for radiant with intergral DHW, and a heat dump radiator.

    Checked out your site

The pump flange tool is great. I could have used it last Thursday.

    HR,
Do you know if your supplier Rex also has the surge protectors by Resol for the collector sensing line?
